Ceremonial practice is best done together as a community. Shining Bright Lotus Meditation Society is pleased to be offering a bi-monthly online community practice period devoted to ceremony and connection.
Join us for Weekend Sangha Practice. After connecting with sangha members, together we will performing the Morning Service followed by a 30-minute meditation. The Dharma Reflection will be offered by Hosho Don Koehler, titled “You have to be Somebody before you become Nobody,“ followed by sangha discussion.
Join society members and leaders as they guide the collective through chanting, prayer, meditation and discussion. No experience necessary.
Weekend Sangha Practice is open to anyone.

About Hosho Don Koehler
Hosho Don Kohler has been practicing for over 25 years as a licensed clinical psychologist living in Richmond Virginia. He is a longtime meditator. He runs a sangha called the Integral Meditation Group at Ekoji Buddhist Sangha in Richmond. He originally, did Jukai with Jun Po Roshi, continuing to study with Doshin Roshi of Integral Zen. Recently he was ordained as a Dragon Heart Dharma priest with Fugen Roshi.
