Spirituality & Spiritual Identity - Fall Practice Period 2025

When the Buddha Needs Therapy - Fall Practice Period 2025

Spirituality & Spiritual Identity

Dharma Talk by Ekai Joel Kreisberg

Saturday, October 18th

9:00 am - 11:00 am ET (New York)

Online

What is the difference between spirituality and spiritual identity? Isn’t Zen moving beyond identity? What about Zen style and Zen practice? Are they the same?

Join in to an opening dharma reflection for the Fall Practice period. Ekai Joel Kreisberg examines the basic dilemma Kogen Keith Martin-Smith outlines in the text. After the dharma reflection, participants are invited into an open discussion as to how spirituality and identity converge in Zen practice.

After a short break you are invited to our weekly morning service and zazen practice.

The Fall Practice Period is open to anyone.

There is no fee for this event. A donation requested.
