Live on Retreat - Evening Service, Maitreya’s Chair and Closing Service

Each evening on retreat we perform the Evening Service in honor of our ancestors. While traditionally, this service consists of the Rinzai Lineage in honor of the 83 patriarchs. At SBLMS, our Evening Service changes each night. Rotating with an honoring of our female ancestors in Zen as well as honoring our own ancestors.

WE follow the service with meditation practice. For sacred movement we are pleased to have Emyo Darlene Tataryn offering Maitreya’s Chair. After another meditation period we will close with the Closing Service.

This event is open to anyone.

There is no fee to attend.
