Community Council

Making sense of the current events in the Middle East

Wednesday, July 29

9:00 am - 10:00 am ET (New York)

Online

As Buddhist practitioners, what is our role in promoting peace? How do we practice when so much suffering is going on in the world? What is the responsibility of the sangha in challenging circumstances like current events in the Middle East?

We start the inquiry with Council. Council offers an opportunity to share and to listen in a community dedicated to compassion and connection.

Council is a listening practice. A time to sit in circle with our hearts open. A time to reflect and share deeply. We are learning that there is great value in talking, thus we have developed practices that allow us to share in a manner that fosters deep connection.

Please join us for our Community Council devoted to the theme of responding to current events in the middle east. This is an opportunity to share what deeply matters, and to witness others as they too share meaningfully.

The Community Council is open to anyone.

There is no fee for this event.
