Ceremonial practice is best done together as a community. Shining Bright Lotus Meditation Society is pleased to be offering a bi-monthly online community practice period devoted to ceremony and connection.

Join us for Weekend Sangha Practice. After connecting with sangha members, together we will performing the Morning Service followed by a 30-minute meditation. The Dharma Reflection will be offered by Ekai Joel Kreisberg entitled “Celebrate Others - Do Not Elevate Yourself and Blame Others,“ followed by sangha discussion.

Join society members and leaders as they guide the collective through chanting, prayer, meditation and discussion. No experience necessary.

Weekend Sangha Practice is open to anyone.

There is no fee for this event.


About Ekai Joel Kreisberg

Ekai Joel Kreisberg has been teaching the healing arts and meditation for over 30 years. Taking jukai with Jun Po Denis Kelly Roshi with Hollow Bones Zen, Joel was given the name Ekai meaning “Ocean of Generosity.” Ekai was ordained by Jun Po in 2018 at Dai Bosatsu, the root monastery for Hollow Bones. Yakuso means “Healing Source.”

Ekai serves as the Spiritual Director of Shining Bright Lotus.
